Steven J Gorlin and Company, Inc dba Gorlin Pools and Spas was incorporated in March, 1999 with one used Toyota pick up, one employee, and an office in the basement of our house. By the end of that year the business was in the black. Debt free with 3 employees and an assortment of mechanical, office, and vehicle assets. By the middle of 2001 we moved out of the house and into the office we currently occupy at 684 Route 70 Lakehurst, NJ 08733.

Our Mission –  Effectively aligning our company to empower our managers with trusted partners who support our client’s lifelong safety and enjoyment of their water environment.

Five of our business success assets include “3 Year Strategic Business Plan”, “Employee Handbook”, “Operations Manual”, “Organizational Chart” and “Marketing Plan”.

We have over 10,000 pools in our data base. We install gunite, fiberglass, and vinyl liner pools. We have renovated hundreds of concrete, vinyl, and fiberglass pools and we maintain 1200 pools per month and close over 1000 pools each season. We are uniquely positioned as a “PREMIER” warranty service center for all the major and some minor manufacturers in the swimming pool and hot tub industry. This intentional positioning affords us the continued education offered by the engineers and trainers of our industry’s best, keeping “Gorlin Pools” on the cutting edge of technology and ahead of the learning curve of all other competitors in our market. In 2005, we announced the opening of our custom concrete pool construction division. Providing consulting, design, and building services to customers with discriminating taste.
